Part 1: Explain, in complete sentences, how you would use the graphing method to solve the following system of equations. Part 2: Provide the solution to the system. Part 3: Explain what the solution represents on the graph. x + 4y = –16 3x + 2y = 12 please help

Part 1: First rearrange both equations to express y with the subject x. Thus getting, y= (-16-x)/4 y= (12-3x)/2 Then graph this 2 equations, with the help of a graphing calculator, or without. You will then get 2 straight lines. Find the intersection point of the 2 lines. That will be the solution for the system of equations. Part 2: Via the graphing method i got x=8 y=-6 Part 3: (this is kind of repetitive as i answered this in part 1 already) The solution represents the point of intersection of the 2 lines on the graph.
