It will be hard to graph like that, so you should put the equations in slope intercept form

Actually, if you use the intercept method, it's really easy to graph from general form.  Suppose x=0, find what y is.  Repeat for y=0, find what x is.  Those two pairs give you the x and y intercepts, then connect the points.
