Find the x – intercept of y = 2 Answer -2 Does not exist 2 0 IS it 2???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO -2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay with this, you still have your basic equation y = mx+b But for this particular one, your m= 0 So it's just y=2 If you want to be able to see what's going on, just start at y=2 and draw a horizontal line.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

y=2 is a horizontal line two units above the x axis. Where do you think it crosses the x axis?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Where does it cross the x axis?

Bailey, if you ever need to graph something and don't have your calculator on hand, just go onto google and type: graph y=2 Or whatever function you need to graph.
