3000(1+.09)^35 imhaving problems on the exponent do i multiply .09x35 or is it 1.09x1.09x.1.09x1.09x1.09 etc.?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

3000(1+.09)^35 becomes 3000(1.09)^35 after adding 1 and 0.09 Now you raise 1.09 to the 35th power to get (1.09)^35 = 20.4139679185163 So we now have 3000(20.4139679185163) Finally, multiply those two numbers, which I'll let you do to get the final answer.
