Is there a way to know the level of education of students asking questions?
Sorry, there's no formalized way of doing this. Your best bet is to try to get an idea of what topics they have covered. It's against our code of conduct for you to ask what their age is, as that's personally identifying. And, to be honest, what year they are in school is worthless information - so asking what topics have been covered in their education so far is your go-to for that.
Also there's some chance to guess what their level by looking to their profile at their school (if they have written it there) but it's not very reliable
this site helps us students in our assignment/project. But we should use other words.
When I'm working with a student on a writing assignment, I do ask what class it's for or what level they're working at. Working with a 10th grader, for example, is very different from working with someone who's doing freshman comp, which is different again from working with someone doing upper division college writing.
