Differentiate (t^2 + 2)/(t^4 - 3t^2 + 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use quotient rule

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Why are you reposting this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by way of the quotient rule i got [2t(-t^4 - 7t^2 + 7)]/[(t^4 - 3t^3 + 1)^2], which is incorrect apparently... close but no cigar. any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk i thought everyone had quit out on the other one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

double teaming

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(t^2-2)T^4-t^2-1)/(t^2-t-1)(t^2+t-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

= -2t ( t^4 + 4t^2 - 7) / ( t^4 - 3t^2 + 1)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[y'=\frac{-2t(t^4+4t^2-7)}{(t^4-3t^2+1)^2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I miss typed the square under the denominator!
