How can i improve my writing?? People always told me bout reading more books but wat do i get from there?? Any tips??

From reading others' works, you see different examples of figurative writing, different writing styles which you may imitate and transform to your own style. It may also teach you how to use these figurative examples properly, such as metaphors, similes, and onomatopoeias. 

My english teacher once told me;
TO BE A GOOD CHEIF, ONE MUST TASTE MANY DIFFERENT FOODS.
TO BE A GOOD WRITER, ONE MUST TASTE MANY DIFFERENT BOOKS.

I think you could just practice writing things that are important to you; if you like dogs lets say write about how they make you feel and why you like them and what is your favorite thing about them. Write things that express yourself. Once you can master the writing of what makes you feel good or whatever and you express yourself. Expressing yourself is a major part of writing. This has helped me I hope it helps you! ;)
