what is NTLDR?

New Technology LOADER by Microsoft responsible for driving control from Basic Input Output System(BIOS) to windows.....I think HAL Hardware Abstraction Layer is either part of NTLDR or controlled by it . I only know the basics and used a little common sense above. Take it with a grain of salt.
