I need some help! I just need someone to check my answers! If I have anything wrong, It would be appreciated if you told me what I did wrong and how I can correct it.... I really need some help, and I need it fast. Please and thank you to whoever can help me! :) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120311111200AAtODgL
I know it a lot of question but like, said before, I only need them checked....
*I know it's a lot of questions but, like I said before, I only need them to be checked.... sorry for the spelling error, hehehe :)
So far I've only actually checked the first one. Although it looks like you are going to have the same thing in some of the other problems. For the first problem, I get 3ab as the answer. Remember that in a given term, you can multiply the coefficients together and put that product to the front of the term so in the case of 6a4b^2+9a3b you get 24ab^2 for the first term and 27 ab for the second giving you 24ab^2+27ab. So of course the only common factor for the coefficients is 3, both terms have an a so you can take that, and the first term has 2 b's and the second has one, so you can factor out 1 b from the terms so you get as a GCF 3ab. Factored from the actualy expression it would look like 3ab(8b+9)
I'll check the rest. Any I see that same problem with, I'll just give you the number to redo, if I see other issues I'll point them out along with the number.
ohhh, okay! Thanks! and just to clarify, 1. is B then right?
yes
okay! :)
Ok holdup a second. I need to make sure I am reading the problems correctly. In the first problem, is the problem \[6a4b^{2}+9a3b\] or \[6a^{4}b^{2}+9a^{3}b\] or even some other variation of coefficients and exponents? The reason I ask is because on the second problem I realized that if I read the 2 as a coefficient the way I did with the numbers in the first problem, then none of the answers work, but if it's an exponent then your answer is correct.
its the second one you put, 6a^4b^2 + 9a^3b
what problem are we doing?
its the link above.... this one: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120311111200AAtODgL But I just need it to be checked... there's a lot of questions but, all my answers are there.
Then your answer is correct. Sorry, the notation is a bit confusing.
its, okay! :) I thought so after a little bit, I kept doing it over and over thinking I was doing something completely wrong, lol :)
But its all good! :D
#5 is right
2 is correct as well if that 2 is an exponent
#6 is right
yeah, sorry I didn't emphasis the exponents...
#7 is right
3 is right
emphasize*
#8 and #9 are right
:D
4 is right
#10 is right
yay! so far so good! :D
11 is right
one more...
Plus that last one with two parts....
#12 is right
:D yay, all of the multiple choice ones I got right, I'm so proud! lol :D
The answers for 13 look good too.
Awesome! Thanks so much for your help you guys!! I really appreciate you checking ALL of those answers! I didn't think anyone would because there were so many! But thanks again! :D
you're welcome
