In Taylor Series at http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcII/TaylorSeries.aspx in example 3 why not the author has taken the derivative of x^4 and just too the derivative of exponential?

He was saying that the power series of \[x^4 e^{-3x^2} \] is just \[x^4 \cdot \left( \text{ The power series of }e^{-3x^2} \right) \] to save time.
