If you dont understand why (x−4).
Example
$$\huge  (\sqrt{x})(\sqrt{x})$$
$$\huge (x ^{\frac{1}{2}})(x ^{\frac{1}{2}})$$
$$\huge x ^{\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}}=x$$
