OpenStudy (ash2326):

We have \[\frac{2x+3}{x-2}-\frac{x+4}{x-2}\] as the two fractions have the same denominator we can combine them \[\frac{2x+3-(x+4)}{x-2}\] so we get \[\frac{2x+3-x-4}{x-2}\] we get \[\frac{x-1}{x-2}\]
