Could anyone please help me with an essay from one of these topics?
-no pain, no gain.
-would u rather create an environmental friendly or industrial city? Why?
-which city or historical object would you like to visit? Why?

What kind of essay is it supposed to be? Persuasive? Informative?
Personally I would think the later would be more informative, and the second would be the persuasive. I myself wouldn't bother with the first one if I had a choice.

The first step in essay-writing is brainstorming. Sit down and write everything you think of about "no pain, no gain." Personal experiences? What do you associate with it? What pain/what gain? Do you agree? Disagree? Don't try to form an essay yet, just write as much as possible (it doesn't have to be in complete sentences or anything) about your topic.

Then, look for patterns. What do you write the most about? What do you know the least about? What would you be interested in reading? What would be good research material? Have you come up with anything unique or different, something that isn't common knowledge? That will help you narrow down the list of topics for your essay.
