Figure PQRS shows the top view of a rectangular box. The length of segment EQ is (x + 6) units and the length of segment ES is (5x – 3) units. Which property of a rectangle is used to write the equation (x + 6) = (5x – 3) and solve for x? A.The diagonals of a rectangle are congruent. B. The diagonals of a rectangle are perpendicular. C. The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other. D. The diagonals of a rectangle divide it into two congruent triangles.
The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other.
@SWAG suppose we have a line segment of length 10 and another line cuts it into two line segments each of length 5. So we can write 5=5,can't we?
x + 6 = 5x – 3 -4x = -9 x=9/4
Thanks you guys, hey can you guys goto my next question im about to post :)
