Hi everyone, can someone help me with my digestive enzyme lab. I feel like my data table is wrong. D:
Test tube 1 had 6 mL of water Test tube 2 had 2 mL of albumin + 4 mL of water. Test tube 3 had 2 mL of albumin + 2 mL of water + 2 mL of protease Test tube 4 had 2 mL of albumin + 2 mL of HCl solution + 2 mL of protease Test tube 5 had 2 mL of albumin + 2 mL of NaHCO3 + 2 mL of protease Data table: Test tube #1: Neutral, Blue and no protein present. Test tube #2: Neutral, Purple and protein present but not broken down by protease. Test tube #3: Neutral, Purple and protein present and broken down slightly by protease to peptides. Test tube #4: Acidic, Pink and protein present and broken down a lot by protease to peptides. Test tube #5: Basic, Purple and protein present but not broken down by protease Is my data table right? I feel like test tube #2, 3 & 5 are wrong.
I haven't done this lab, so I can't help much. However, it doesn't matter if your data table is wrong, there's nothing you can't do about it. The data you get in the lab is the data you use in the lab report. Do not fabricate data and instead mention that your data may be off and why explain that may be in your error analysis or conclusion.
ohh, i see. okie! thank you!
