@sydneyy your question requires login. Will you please post a snapshot of the graphs?

i can try..

OpenStudy (ash2326):

ok:)

graph a

post all:)

graph b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph D

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Ok \[y=-2x^2-5\] let's write this as \[y+5=-2x^2\] As there is - with x^2 so the graph will open down so either its b or d

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Now if it were just \(y=-2x^2\) the graph's vertex would be at zero but here we have \[y+5=-2x^2\] when x=0 y=-5 so here the vertex is at (0,-5) so it's d

thanks alot:)
