I find myself confussed when it comes to the cell cycle. I think it to be G1, S, G2, Mitosis. then there is the interphase which consists of the Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase Telophase/cytokinesis. Then meiosis consist of G1, S, G2 then Meiosis which breaks down to Prophase 1, Metaphase 1, Anaphase 1, Telophase 1 then onto Prophase II, Metaphase II Anaphase II, and telophase II. Is this correct?

This is not correct
Interphase is the preparation of mitosis, so they are not the same
It consists of G1 S G2, and after will come to mitosis which is prophase, metaphase...etc
