I find myself confussed when it comes to the cell cycle. I think it to be G1, S, G2, Mitosis. then there is the interphase which consists of the Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase Telophase/cytokinesis. Then meiosis consist of G1, S, G2 then Meiosis which breaks down to Prophase 1, Metaphase 1, Anaphase 1, Telophase 1 then onto Prophase II, Metaphase II Anaphase II, and telophase II. Is this correct?

"then there is the interphase which consists of the Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase Telophase/cytokinesis. " This is not correct Interphase is the preparation of mitosis, so they are not the same It consists of G1 S G2, and after will come to mitosis which is prophase, metaphase...etc
