What are the critical points for y' = 8x/ (x^2+4)^2
x = 0 -> f (0) = .. (plug into original equation to find y value of critical point)
I know that too but I only got x=0 as the critical number so juz wondering if there are others other than 0
Where's your f(x)?
y = x^2 / (x^2 + 4) for this one, i also only got 0..
so then the whole function will have no local min or max, or cusp or vertical tangent?
Since you plug f(0) = 0 ==> critical point (0,0)
Yep, a lot of rational graph just increasing, decreasing!
there's nothing wrong with it!
ohh ok thanks! oh so my part 3 asks to find 2second derivative and cocavity so basically i can skip that since there is no concave points?
You just lucky at this one! however try to practice all types so you can be ready for your tests!
thanks yea i have alot others to do haha
post and make sure type it clearly, make it easy for us to solve it precisely :)
