Using the Chain Rule , find dy/dx if y=u^4-3u^2+7 and u=x^2+3

OpenStudy (kainui):

The chain rule is just the derivative of the outside times the derivative of the inside, like this: d/dx (3x^2-7x)^3 = 3(3x^2-7x)^2*(6x-7)
