The figure below shows a triangular lawn labeled PQR. There are two fences, AB and BC. A triangle PQR is shown with vertex angle at P. A, B and C are points on PR, PQ and QR respectively, so that the segment AB is parallel to QR and the segment BC is parallel to PR. PQ has length 80 feet, QR has length 160 feet, PR has length 120 feet BQ has length 60 feet What is the total length of the fence AB and BC? Answer 90 feet 130 feet 160 feet 200 feet

to get BC: 60/80 = x/120 to get AB: 20/80 = y/160 solve for x and y in those ratios. then add.. x+y to get your answer.
