Factor completely: x2 - 2x + 5 Is it prime maybe?

OpenStudy (beth12345):

5 because x2 and 2x are the same thing, sort of like 2 times 3 and 3 times 2, therefore they cancel each other out

OpenStudy (beth12345):

oh and ya it's prime

OpenStudy (beth12345):

it's prime because.....a prime number (or a prime) is a natural number that has exactly two distinct natural number divisors: 1 and itself
