Name the property of inequality that justifies the statement plz help me understand whats going on here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

What do you believe it is? (or completely clueless?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am i on the right path of understanding Properties of Inequality in the first place? Properties of Inequality: If a < b and b < c , then a < c . If a > b and b > c , then a > c .

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

Yes, I believe that is specifically named as the Transitive property (My understanding on properties are quite rusty. @Chlorophyll Any ideas?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's very much like the b is the bridge to connect a and c together!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Suppose in real life, your family have 3 brothers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then of course the oldest will greater then the youngest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@gopeder Is it clear or not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Chlorophyll Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Somewhat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's why this property is transitive using the middle to compare left and right most!

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

You seem to have the properties down. Now compare what you had writen earlier, subsituting with angle measurements given, and figure a similar way. :-)

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

It is just application.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! ok i understand why we call it a transitive loli had to look at what you wrote and look at the problem a few times :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm glad :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you @Chlorophyll for helping me understand and thank you @KatrinaKaif for bringing him in and raping it up at the end :-)

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

The pleasure is ours :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, your happy is our joy :)
