what do you mean ??

OpenStudy (s):

I can help you but don't run away like you did when i was drawing those prisms for you lol =D

OpenStudy (s):

1. Find the area of the trapezoid that's facing you, where parallel sides are 2 and 6 and the height is 3. Times it by 2 cause you have two of them.

OpenStudy (s):

2. Find the side that's marked with a dash.. to do that, take a look at the triangle in the left part of the trapezoid. Height is 3, base would be 2, so use the Pythagorean theorem to find the dashed side. This will enable you to find the area of the rectangle on the side which would be 5 times the dashed side. Times by two cause you have two of them.

OpenStudy (s):

3. Then find the area of the bottom which would be just 5 * 6 = 30

OpenStudy (s):

4. Find the surface area of the cylinder that has a diameter of 2 and a height of 5, and then divide it by 2 because you only have a half of that cylinder in your problem.

OpenStudy (s):

Add results of point 1 2 3 and 4 to get your total surface area.
