Question

I have to write an on demand newspaper blog article about nonnative invasive plants :( As my hook, I want to describe the plants to make the reader think they're human by saying stuff like carnivorous predator, cold, heartless killers, public enemy, strangles innocent citizens, and include the word incognito because it's a cool word that I though of because they don't get much recognition. How can I write this eloquently as my hook?

But only at the last sentence of the introductory paragraph (or second to last) do I want to introduce the "killers" as "invasive plants"
