f(x)=4x^2+x-2/4x-3 find any slant or vertical asymptotes

is this your problem: \[\frac {4x ^{2}+x-2}{4x-3}\]?

since the degree of the numerator is 1 more than the degree of the denominator, you do have a slant asymptote. to find the equation of the slant asymptote, just do long division. the equation of the slant asymptote should be y = x + 1
