Can someone please show me how to do this thank you.If a square floor has an area of 260 square feet, estimate the length of one side. Give the whole number that is closest to the amount.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the area of a square is side x side: A=s² so 260 = s² now, if you want to know the length of one side, you need the square root of both sides: \[\sqrt{260} = \sqrt{s²}\] \[s= \sqrt{260}\] and then just calculate that hope that helped :)

yes thank u so much
