f(x)=x^2-10

OpenStudy (hoblos):

and what is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you adding more to the directions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Graphing it! vertex, axis of symetry, and a few points needed. Sorry thanks for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

standard form is ax^2 + bX + c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertex is -B/2a note you do not have a x term - so it is 0 for B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops I meant that was the axis of symmetry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the vertx - plug in x = axis of symmetry and solve for Y (x,Y) is your vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for ease of graphing also identify the y-intercept - which is (0,C)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me know if you have other questions but i think you should be able to determine everything you need from that information

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the vertex is (0,-10) axis of symetry is x=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

agreed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so so much!!!
