Please Help! Will takes off on his weekly bike trip pedaling 12 km/h. One hour later, Andrew leaves from the same place pedaling 18 km/h. How long will it take Andrew to catch Will? A. 1/6 hours B. 2 hours C. 3 hours D. 5 hours

Start by seeing how far each of them has gone after one hour. Will will have gone 12 km, Andrew will not have gone any distance. After two hours Will has gone another 12km for a total of 24 km. Andrew will only have gone 18km. After 3 hours Will will have gone another 12 km for a total of 36 km. Andrew will have gone another 18 km for a total of 36 as well.
