Can someone please show my the steps in solving this problem: An investment is worth $2723 in 1992. By 1995 it has grown to $3398. Let y be the value of the investment in the year x, where x=0 represents 1992. Write a linear equation that models the value of the investment in the year x. Once you have the equaton, find the value of the investment in 2001.

Is anyone looking at my question? Should I re-post it?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

(0,2723) (3,3398) Those are the two ordered pairs. Find the slope.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What did you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please type out the steps on how you got that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing. I can't figure out how to even start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question asks for me to write out a linear equation that models the value of the investment in the year x, then find the value of the investment in 2001
