A shell is fired from a field gun with a speed of 128 m/s. The gun's barrel forms a 60 degree angle with the horizontal velocity of the shell. The time the shell remains in the air? The horizontal distance the shell travels?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

T=2*u*sin60/g vertical component of velocity is u sin60 there is acc in the downward direction so use equations of uniformly accelearted bodies to derive the above equation try horizontal; distance by urself all u have to know is that there is NO ACC IN THE HORIZONTAL DIRECTION
