I shall purchase a powerful laptop someday. What operating system should I install on it if I wish to install several OSs on it and run them as virtual machines? Should I use virtual machines (allows me to simultaneously run all the OS) or install them as dual-boot or whatever? What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing that kind of thing? Btw, what is the most powerful laptop I could get for around $3000?

i am also interested in dual-booting vs virtual boxing and it's impossible to answer what is most powerful laptop, you need to say for what you are going to use it and etc

And next week, this week's most powerful will be the second most powerful! Just to confuse the issue more for you: how about a desktop and a moderate laptop that you can ssh into the desktop and display with X-Windows?

lol

i think using virtual machine is better than dual-boot because using dual-boot if you want to switch to other OS you should have to restart your laptop again and then select other OS .its good to install several OS at a time e.g you can use internet on linux instead of windows because it is more secure.
