I love how every time I return to Open Study, something has changed! :) The new look and feel of message/statusupdate handling is wonderful. Thank you programmers & coders, keep up the great work!

OpenStudy (darthsid):

Thanks, mathteacher1729! I love the number 1729. It's the smallest number expressible as the sum of two cubes in two different ways, and is famous as Ramanujan's number. Was it a deliberate choice?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

RAMANUJAN! And thanks, really happy to hear you like it :)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Hi Everyone, yes the story of Hardy & Ramanujan inspired the number at the end of my screenname. @darthsid and @shadowfiend If you have not read it, please check out http://www.amazon.com/Man-Who-Knew-Infinity-Ramanujan/dp/0671750615 a WONDERFUL book! :D

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Wow. Spotted the word “horripulating” in one of the reviews there. Had never seen that word before, indeed most dictionaries don't have it. Love it!
