can someone please help me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to create this problem and i want it to be about a turtle that is walking to the beach need to use trigonometric functions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for instance the turtle walk at a rate of ....(usin tan or sec or sin i dont know) and how long it would take the turtle to get to the beach which is like 20 miles maybe

OpenStudy (precal):

what level of math is this for? I am asking so that I can respond at your level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

precalculus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have this example jackie just won the lottery with the money she decides to buy a farm. her favorite animal on the farm is her cow. every morning she milks her cow at a rate of 1/9 sec 3x tan 3x+5 gallons per hour. if jackie mils her cow for 30 minutes each morning , how much milk will she have after a week

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELLO? :(

OpenStudy (precal):

sorry, I ran off to make dinner. I am back now

OpenStudy (precal):

just draw any triangle, you can always use laws of sine to solve it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i want to do the turtle problem because i already created the project overall and i just need the problem, besides the triangle and the shadow is over used :/

OpenStudy (precal):

Use the turtle problem. Draw any triangle, draw the turtle, label one angle and two sides, or two angles and one side. Make up some story.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the rate that the turtle walk per mile

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the problem would be how long it will take to get to the beach which is 10 miles away

OpenStudy (precal):

make it up but I would not do per mile, too long of a distancefor the turtle. Pick another unit (smaller unit). Google walking rate of a turtle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.30 miles per hour

OpenStudy (precal):

use meters per seconds m/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so 0.9 m/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.09

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the beach is a mile away
