I have Vista on my home computer. For ps 10 I need to download wxPython. Currently I am using Python 2.7.2 (default, Jun 12 2011, 14:24:46) [MSC v.1500 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32. I am not sure which wx to download or where to save it to. I tried wxPython2.8-win32-unicode-py27 and put it in the python 27 dir but it isnt working.

did you d/l a the binary install file (.exe)? did you 'run' it? did you get the right one - 32 or 64 bit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 2 choices wxPython2.8-win32-unicode-py27 and wxPython2.8-win32-ansi-py27 . I chose the first one, 32 bit.

did you execute it?

When I type in: import wx from the python shell I keep getting the error message: ImportError: No module named wx
