Can someone explain how to do proofs for geometry?

-For column proofs: Draw a T chart and label the left column 'Statements' and the right column 'Reasons.' Then, put the given as the first thing in the Statement column and write 'given' next to it in the Reason column. Then, you start solving it out, writing the math into the Statement column and certain postulates, theorems, etc. (that help prove why you did what you did in the statement column) in the Reasons column. -For paragraph proofs: Basically, just solve it out and write a paragraph about what you did, also using theorems, postulates, etc. to justify.
