Malcolm X and MLK both mentioned how the white man oppressed the black man in society, also both were very religious people. Martin Luther King Jr and Malcom X loved to read and write. In opposition, Malcolm X wanted to establish black infrastructure ( Schools, Hospitals, communities etc.. and MLK wanted to be equal with the white men overall.
