OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the magnitude of vector v with initial point (-2,3) and terminal point (6,-5)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

draw and use Pythagoras theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Distance formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

move into position vector and distance it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Distance between x1,y1 and x2,y2 = SQRT((x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2)).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember, it is asking for "magnitude" of vector. If it asked for the direction, then you will have to use the distance and the x/y coordinates to also find angle (use of trigonometry will be needed).
