Wolf gives you the answer http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y+%3C+3x+-+5

OpenStudy (callisto):

to graph an inequality, you should first draw a line y=3x-2 if it is with 'or equal to', draw it with a line, if not, draw a dotted line instead. Then randomly put a point , which is not lie on the line, and see is if the inequality exist if yes, the point lies on that region, 'colour' the area where the point belongs. if no, the point does not lie on that region, then ' colour' the area that the point is not lying on.

OpenStudy (callisto):

*lie in the region
