what are eight different ways to get the sum of twenty by only using four numbers using only positive numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. (2,4,6,8) Can you use a number only once? Like (2,2,6,10)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only two of them can have the same number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So another could be (12, 2, 2, 4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have to use 4 numbers or just at most?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at most

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah okay! sweet. give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(16, 4) (12, 8) (10, 6, 4) (18, 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. 4,6,10 2. 2,8,10 3. 4,16 4.2,18 5. 6,12 6. 2,6,12 7. and 4,8,8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^ for 5, 6 + 12 is 18. So you could add 2 in there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah haha I was working too fast! Glad you caught that
