Do you use transitions between your sentences? Between paragraphs? If so, why do you use them? What happens if you don't? Are you clear on the concept of what a transition is?

A, B, and C. Transitions help your paper flow smoothly from one topic to another, without what I call "choppiness." If you just move from one subject to another, it can confuse, and bore, the reader. A transition is kind of a heads-up to let the reader know you are moving on.
