Are they any prerequisites in order to start MIT 8.01 Physics? I am a 9th grader and have not had experience on trigonometry and pre-calculus.

Yep trigonometry and pre-calculus would help you understand the course better. The course is optimal for 11th graders.

Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, College Algebra, Trig and Pre-calc, and ideally you would also have Calculus 1 done.

The basic of this science or general laws . you don't need the backgrounds on tri or calculus, the way is teach here yes.
