For f o g(-1) just insert x^(2)-1 into the x variable in f(x) and then insert -1 into the equation you acquire from that

so

5(x^(2)-1) - 4 = f o g(-1)

now insert -1 and solve

5 (-1^(2) -1) -4 = y
