Let f(x)=5x-4 and g(x)=x^2-1. Find each value. 1) (g composite f)(-1) 2) (f composite g)(2) 3) (g composite f)(0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For f o g(-1) just insert x^(2)-1 into the x variable in f(x) and then insert -1 into the equation you acquire from that so 5(x^(2)-1) - 4 = f o g(-1) now insert -1 and solve 5 (-1^(2) -1) -4 = y

if there is something you dont understand about this process ask
