Pi can be approximated as 3.14159, which is larger than 3.1415 by 0.00009. (If we define pi to a higher accuracy, say 100 decimals, it will still be larger than 3.1415) Technically, pi itself has no end in decimal places, so we have to use the more accurate approximation to determine how it compares with numbers close to it
