Estimate the number of primes les than 10000000 using the prime number theorem.

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Well the prime number theorem says that there are about \[x \over \ln(x)\]primes less than x. So just plug in 10000000 for x.

and since it's a decimal i just round down?

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

That would probably be the best idea.

awesome thanks :)
