have you learned about inverse functions in math? we'd pretty much have the same concept here, where we switch the x's and y's for the coordinates to get their reflected coordinate i think there'd also be a more geometry-oriented approach if you work with the distance between y=x and each point and then find the point on the other side of y=x that is the same distance from y and on a perpendicular line to y that goes through each coordinate, if you're interested. :P
there's also a matrix you can use... there's a lot of ways to do this. I suppose it just depends on what class you're doing it for that matters / what you learned in that class about the topic
