How would I cite the film ratings of the Harry Potter series for an MLA formatted paper? I could not find them online (surprisingly), so I got them off the back of the DVDs themselves.

The film itself?? Is the rating of the film on the back of the DVD? Look at this and see if it helps. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/09/

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The age rating- G, PG, PG-13, and so on. I used the actual warning for the given rating, and yes, they're off the back of the DVD case. Example: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 PG-13: Some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images I don't know if I actually -have- to cite it, but since I'm using it as evidence towards my argument...

Well if you are just using the ratings then I don't think you have to cite it. According to the rules, you don't have to cite something that is common knowledge. That is definitely common knowledge; anybody can find out the rating of a movie.

Oh, I didn't know that! Thank you so much!

You're welcome, no problem. :)
