Polly plans to cover two walls of her rectangular room with wallpaper, as shown below. A roll of wallpaper is 10 meters long and 0.5 meters wide. Assuming that there is no wastage, how many rolls of wallpaper would Polly require to cover the two walls?

one roll of wallpaper = 10*0.5 meters square= 5m^2 total surface are of these two wals= 5*5*2= 50. number of roll of wallpaper require= total surface area / total surface area of one roll =50/5 =10
