OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help me solve this algebraically

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Are you supposed to take the derivative of 5x^2 or it that the derivative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says find the derivative of this at x=10

OpenStudy (freckles):

\[(5x^2)'=\lim_{x \rightarrow x_0}\frac{5x^2-5x_0^2}{x-x_0}\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So do you know how to find the derivative of 5x^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorta new to it

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Multiply the 5 by the exponent 2 and make the 2 one less. What do you get?
