This is about the Hh antigen. People with this typing can only accept blood from similar people, but can donate to anyone. If you mix blood from, say a O+ person, and a Hh+ person.. the Hh guy cant take this mixture in his blood stream, but the O+ guy can. I'm not sure whats different in the two cases.
