The surface of the water in a tank 2,5 m above its base. if there is a small hole at the base of the tank , water will flow out with velocity of???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did they give the radius of the base?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no radius

ok sorry i though this would be similar to a calc problem. if it is then i suggest using derivatives to solve the problem. are you failiar with calculus?

Hi you can use Bernloli equation between two point A & B |dw:1332158745342:dw| \[P _{0}+(1/2)\rho v^2=P _{0}+\rho gy\]we now that velocity in top of water is negligible
